New agency or agent onboarding, new appointments, or link agent to existing producer code. May be initiated proactively by broker or via incoming submission reservation.
Agency or agent must have valid and appropriate license with State Department of Insurance for which appointment is sought.
Changes of name or address of existing agency or agent appointment.
Agency or agent to have changed such information with the State Department of Insurance prior to submitting amendment request to AIG.
Termination of agency or agent appointment or deactivate producer code/agent ID. This disables producer across all AIG systems.
Documentation from Agency, Agent, or AIG Field contact indicating reason for appointment termination.
Producers seeking new appointment with AIG must meet the following minimum requirements:
Producer completes & submits request online.
AIG field review & initial approval of request.
AIG Producer Appointment & Licensing team (PAL) process request with the State Department of Insurance.
AIG Producer Appointment & Licensing team communicates request completion to requestor.
Requests related to M&A activity require additional information to ensure appointments accurately reflect entity new structure.
